A team of officials from the National Media Council (NMC) in the United Arab Emirates and Google discussed media cooperation on Friday. During the meeting held at the Internet City in Dubai, Google was briefed on the role of the NMC in regulating the media sector, its work mechanisms and coordination among the media institutions in the country, in addition to its efforts to develop relations with media organizations across the world. The two sides discussed coordination between them in the field of legislation pertaining to the internet and electronic publishing and decided to continue cooperation within this framework, the UAE news agency "WAM" reported.
