Minister of Commerce and Industry Abdullah Ahmad Zaynal Ali Reza has approved establishment of four companies at a total value of SR79.4 million. These companies include "Ittijahat" Company for Investment and Development as a holding company with a capital of SR 20 million, The Standard Chartered Capital Company with a capital of SR 52.4 million; Sons of Abdullah Al-Turki Al-Dahyan Contracting Company with a capital of SR 5 million and "Asila" Investment Company with a capital of SR 2 million. This development comes in line with the state's policy which aims at broadening the economic base and diversifying sources of the national income as well as encouraging the private sector to positively contribute to the acceleration of the wheel of economic development in the country.
