Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani said that the convening of the 37th session of the council of foreign ministers of Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) member countries here in this precious part of the Islamic world, confirms the importance of Islamic solidarity and the growing role of the OIC. This came during a speech delivered by Dr. Madani before the 37th session of OIC's Foreign Ministers Council which opened its works earlier here today. He also stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia looks forward to this event to develop policies and mechanisms that could direct the current Islamic discourse into moderate direction serving the unification of the Islamic visions in a circle of moderation and tolerance and far from extremism.
