The 18th session of the Arab Economic Forum will be inaugurated here on Thursday with the participation of more than 600 delegates from 20 countries including a number of ministers and governors of Arab Central Banks in addition to representatives of financing institutions , companies and Arab and foreign banks. The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Forum will be led by Prince Turki Al-Faisal, the President of King Faisal Research and Islamic Studies Center. Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah province, who is also President of the Arab Thought Foundation, as well as Greek Premier George Papandreou will be the Forum's Guests of Honor. The two-day Forum will also be attended by Kuwaiti Deputy Premier for economic affairs Sheikh Ahmad al-Fahd al-Jaber al-Sabah and Arab League's Secretary General Amr Mousa in addition to a number of political and economic personalities from Lebanon, Arab and foreign countries. The participants of the Forum are scheduled to review a number of topics including the required financial policies following the economic crisis, chances of stability and dangers in the Middle East, reform of the international banking system and other related topics.
