A planned five-day strike by British Airways (BA) cabin crew was halted by the High Court in London today, just hours before the action was due to be launched, according to dpa. The High Court granted the airline a last-minute injunction, agreeing with its complaint of technical flaws in the way the result of a union ballot was announced. As the court ruling was made public, BA management was locked in mediation talks with the Unite trade union, which has called four sets of five-day strikes between Tuesday and the beginning of June.
