Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior attended here on Sunday evening the celebration of Riyadh Schools on the occasion of their 40th anniversary, in the presence of Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Province, who is also Honorary President of Riyadh Schools. In an address on the occasion, Prince Naif said, "I and my brother Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, are pleased to take part in the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Riyadh Schools which have been successful and effective for our society and they have helped in graduating a large number of students of this country at their best levels". The Prince praised the late King Fahd bin Abdulaziz for his support for education in General and these schools in particular, noting that the late King was the father and founder of education since the establishment of the first Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also commended the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince for their continuing care and support for the Schools, also praising and thanking Prince Salman for his supervisory role over these schools since their establishment.
