On another issue, the Minister of Foreign affairs reiterated that the sincere desire of the Arab side to achieve peace in the Middle East was the adoption of peace as a strategic choice, and the offer of a comprehensive and balanced peace initiative with Israel based on the decisions and principles of international legitimacy. Prince Saud Al-Faisal also noted in his speech that this extended hand is still unfortunately met with more of intransigence, rejection and disruption by the Israeli government which persists in the aggression, and continues in violating the rights and expanding the settlements as well as the confiscation of land in defiance of the consensus of the international community and the violation of the international conventions and resolutions of the Security Council. --More
