formation and development of a comprehensive national museums, which would witness a new transformation that affirms the museum as a means of linking citizens to history and heritage of their homeland. SCTA set up 7 major museums in addition to the establishment of specializing museums including Museum of Islamic and national heritage in Jeddah situated at Khouzam Palace in the city, and Dar Al Quran in Medina which is overseen by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance in collaboration with the SCTA and the Governorate of Madinah Province. Moreover, SCTA has granted licenses to 40 private museums with international standards.
