Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities concluded a three-day visit to Singapore on Thursday at an official invitation of the Singaporean Government. In a press statement before his departure from Singapore, Prince Sultan bin Salman noted that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing today economic and social restructuring under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince. He praised Singapore's important economic experiences, saying that his meetings with Singaporean officials stressed strong relations between the two countries and their political and economic roles in the world. Prince Sultan bin Salman indicated that Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, who is also Chairman of Board of Directors of General Authority of Civil Aviation has issued his directives emphasizing the importance of transforming the Kingdom's airports into economic systems. On his part, Singaporean Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Zainul Abidin Rasheed said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the largest trading partner to Singapore.
