North Korea must act on its commitment to rejoin negotiations aimed at implementing an agreement to abandon its nuclear activities, dpa cited the US State Department as saying today. "As we've said all along, we'll be guided by North Korea's actions. There are things that North Korea has to do - not say - to meet their international obligations, cease provocative actions." Crowley's remarks came after a visit by North Korea leader Kim Jong Il to Beijing. The Chinese said after his meeting with President Hu Jintao that Pyongyang reaffirmed its commitment to the nuclear talks. There was no indication of when North Korea would be willing to rejoin the six-nation talks that include China, Japan, Russia, the United States and two Koreas. North Korea pulled out of the talks more than a year ago.
