Minister of Commerce and Industry Abdullah bin Ahmad Zainal Ali Ridha delivered a speech at the Saudi-U.S. Business Opportunities Forum. The minister highlighted the strength of Saudi-US relations and reviewed effects of the world economic crisis. The minister underlined the importance of the Saudi market for US goods and services and called for more investments and cooperation between the two countries. The minister explained efforts to boost and diversify the economy in the kingdom and develop Saudi manpower. The minister mentioned Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's efforts to promote peace and understanding in the world citing efforts in the field of dialogue among followers of religions.
