The first convoy, carrying 268-tons of Saudi flour assistance, left Amman today within the framework of the campaign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz for the relief of the Palestinian people in Gaza. The convoy had earlier arrived in Jordan and the flour was unloaded in the stores of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization for sending it to the Palestinian people in the strip. The fine Saudi flour which arrived in Amman last week amounted to 750 tons aboard 30 trucks in line with the Royal order to send humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people. Dr Saed al-Orabi, the advisor to Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, who heads the campaign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the relief of the Palestinian people, said this project comes within the framework of the Kingdom's assistance to the Palestinian people in Gaza strip.
