"The concerned officials are fully aware of the menace of drugs and their role in the organized crime, money-laundering and terrorism networks," said the paper, noting that victims of drugs in the world who were admitted at hospitals and medical care centers amounted in 2008 to more than five million and there are other millions who were not admitted at hospitals and medical centers. About three million addicts of heroin died after being infected by AIDS around the world, said the daily.
