A tornado devastated the southern state of Mississippi on Saturday, killing 10 people, including three children. Dozens of volunteer state troopers and other law enforcement officers also came from different parts of the state to assist with the aftermath of the storm that hit Yazoo City, Mississippi. Governor Haley Barbour said "this tornado was enormous," estimating that at least 100 houses in Yazoo County alone had severe damage.
