Russia and Austria have signed a deal that will expand Moscow's position of strength in supplying Europe with natural gas. The agreement signed by government and energy officials of the two countries allows Russia to lead its planned South Stream pipeline into Austria. From there, it can reach other European countries, AP reported. Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin was present for the signing Saturday.
