A suicide bomber killed at least 10 people at a crowded market in Peshawar, capital of Pakistan's north-western Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa region, officials and media reports said. The attack occurred in the city's Qissa Khawani bazaar, which is frequented by thousands of people every day, dpa reported. Media reports said the lone suicide bomber approached policemen deployed in the market and exploded his suicide vest when stopped. "At least 10 people were killed in the attack but the death toll will rise," a local media outlet reported. The attack occurred hours after a bomb exploded near the entrance of school for police officers' children, which killed one 7-year-old pupil and injured seven others.
