Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), has approved opening a tourism and antiquities office in Wadi Al-Dawasir. Prince Sultan bin Salman said Wadi Al-Dawasir constitutes an important tourism region and it is located on an international road which is passed by holiday-seekers from the various parts of Saudi Arabia and the other member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). It is characterized with its distinguished geographical location at the edge of the Empty Quarter, he said.
