36 Palestinian Female POWs Tortured in Israel's Al-Damoon Prison

Palestinian Minister for Affairs of Prisoners and Released Prisoners Eisa Karaki said the Israeli Prisons Administration has tortured 36 Palestinian female POWs (Prisoners of Wars) at al-Damoon prison in retaliation to their hunger strike on April 07, 2010.
Karaki disclosed that the Israeli Prisons Administration has imposed punitive measures on the female POWs who announced the hunger strike.
He also noted that the Prisons Administration has transferred a number of POWs from the prison of Nafha to Bir al-Sabi after the hunger strike.
