Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is to meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Hanover for talks next weekend, Merkel's office announced on Friday, according to dpa. The Italian delegation is also to include Foreign Minister Franco Frattini, Economics Minister Claudio Scajola and Transport Minister Altero Matteoli, a German government spokesman said. Bilateral, European and international topics are expected to be on the agenda of 28th round of inter-governmental consultations on April 18. Later that day, Berlusconi and Merkel are due to open the Hanover Fair. Italy is this year's official partner country at the industry and technology trade fair in northern Germany.
