Electric Power Generation to Rise in Qassim

Executive President of the Saudi Electricity Company Eng. Ali al-Barak said today the company is planning to expand the electric power generation capabilities in Qassim through implementing two projects, the first project will have a generating capacity of 220 kilowatts while the second will have a capacity of 220 kilowatts.
Meanwhile, Al-Barak also disclosed that the power generation expansion projects in Qassim region were implemented at a total cost of about SR 2 billion and work is currently underway to implement projects of power transformation stations and service lines in Qassim.
