Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, received at his palace in Riyadh today the Governor of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority Amro bin Abdullah Al-Dabbagh and members of the Board of Directors of (SAGIA). During the meeting Al-Dabbagh briefed the Crown Prince on a report about the achievements of SAGIA over the last five years. According to the report, Saudi Arabia ranked 13th of the world in terms of environment competitiveness and the first in the Arab world and the Middle East in 2008. The increase of foreign investments in the Kingdom contributed to the creation of 335,000 jobs with Saudization reaching 27 percent, the report said, adding that, SAGIA contributed to the establishment of economic cities in the Kingdom. For his part, Crown Prince Sultan praised the efforts SAGIA was playing to boost Saudi economy. The audience was attended by Prince Dr. Misha'al bin Abdullah bin Musaed, Advisor to the Crown Prince, and senior protocol officials.
