"The opposition parties accuse the Sudanese government with hatching plots to rig the elections in a manner that may pave the way for eruption of violence at the time when Sudan is facing thorny problems like the problem of Darfur and the problem of the international criminal court which is trying to bring Sudanese President Omar al-Basheer before the court." Sudan is facing a real test to prove that its is capable of realizing democracy which is acceptable by all," said the paper, adding that if violent acts take place, then it will be very difficult to extinguish the fire without high prices paid by the Sudanese people.
