Amr Moussa, Arab League Secretary General, discussed at a meeting with a delegation of Arab thinkers, writers and intellectuals here today ways to carry out Sirte Summit resolution approving in principle a proposal by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, President of the Arab Thought Foundation, to hold an Arab Cultural summit. Following the meeting, Chairman of the Arab Writers Union Mohammed Salmawy said the meeting agreed to hold an Arab conference next month in Cairo to draft a paper and agenda for the proposed summit. He highlighted the importance of culture to the Arab identity and well-being.
