US Congressman Keith Ellison (D-Minnesota) praised wise economic plans put forward by the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, stressing that these plans have established a solid and strong economic basis for the Kingdom. During his meeting with Chairman of Al-Sharqiya Chamber of Commerce Abdulrahman bin Rashid Al-Rashid, a number of board members and the Secretary General of the Chamber, Addnan Al-Naeim plus a host of businessmen at the Chamber, yesterday night, Ellison stressed the importance of promoting commercial cooperation between the Kingdom and the US. Ellison also pointed out that the Kingdom is considered now as an economic powerhouse in the world. On his part, Al-Rashid welcomed the Congressman and accompanying delegation, pointing to the historic relations binding the two countries. -- SPA
