Audah said the phenomenon of terrorism is an international phenomenon, adding that terrorism is not associated with certain religion or color. "We should address our youth and make facts clear before them in a compassionate and lenient manner," he said, noting that 'We cannot solve the problem of terrorism if we fail to know its causes whether they are personal causes, or social or economic causes or even if they are psychological causes.' Dr Sheikh Al-Audah underscored the importance of making clear the condemnation of violence and addressing the youth in an unsentimental way or sometime in a scientific manner. Dr Sheikh Al-Audah said most of the Muslims are moderate and are practicing self-restraint, and that the issue of terrorism should never distract our attention from other problems. "Terrorism is corruption of the earth and it is destruction for the life," he said, pointing out that Islam strictly prohibits violence and disobedience of rulers and the community.
