King Khalid Foundation has signed a partnership agreement with International Acumen Fund, which is an international non-profitable fund that invests in the field of commodities and vital services for individuals of low-income group. Under the agreement, a Saudi candidate will be named for participation in Acumen Fund programs. The agreement comes within the framework of the international and local awareness about the importance of the social projects which extend basic commodities and services to the various sectors of the society in their capacity as effective tools for combating poverty and also in line with the efforts of the Saudi government to urge the business sector in the Kingdom to adopt social projects and sustainable development for the service of the poor people. Princess Al-Bandari bint Abdul-Rahman Al-Faisal, the Director General of King Khalid Charitable Foundation said this partnership will open doors for the Saudi youth to discover social projects in a manner that will have a positive impact. The partnership aims at focusing on the projects of sustainable development and social projects for meeting the requirements of the poor segments of the society, she said. King Khalid Foundation, established in 2001, is a pioneering foundation in the field of charitable work.
