The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at his office at the Royal Court at Al-Yamamah Palace here today the Chairman of the Board of Directors of GCC Monetary Council Dr. Mohammed bin Suleiman Al-Jasser, who is also the Governor of Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), and members of the Board on the occasion of its first meeting held in Riyadh today. The members of the Board are the Deputy Chairman of the Board and Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain Rasheed Mohammed Al-Maraj; Governor of the Central Bank of Qatar Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud Al Thani; and Governor of the Central Bank of Kuwait Sheikh Salem bin Abdulaziz Al-Sabah. During the meeting, the members of the Board conveyed greetings of their countries' leaders to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. In turn, the King sent his greetings to them. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was briefed on the issues discussed during their meeting today. The audience was attended by Prince Abdul-Ilah bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the King; Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; and Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Saud, Advisor to the King.
