Somali pirates seized a Panama-flagged freighter off the coast of Aden today, dpa quoted the European Union maritime mission in the region as saying. The MS Iceberg was captured 10 nautical miles from the port of Aden while en route to the United Arab Emirates, a spokesman for Atalanta mission said. The ship, with a cargo of technical equipment and a 24-member crew, was now on its way to Somalia, the spokesman added.
