The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will participate as a guest of honor at International Book Fair 2010 due to be held in Tokyo on July 8-11. The Ministry of Higher Education will organize the Kingdom's participation in cooperation with Ministry of Culture and Information, King Abdulaziz Public Library, and Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari said that the selection of the Kingdom as a guest of honor for this important occasion came in recognition of the efforts of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his role in supporting dialogue between cultures, followers of religions and civilizations, as well as for the Kingdom's distinguished position at Arab, Islamic and international arenas.
