Arab Summit Opens in Libya

The 22nd Arab summit was inaugurated here today with the participation of the Arab leaders and their representatives.
The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the summit is led by Prince Saud al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister.
Speaking on the occasion, Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, who was the chairman of the 21st Arab summit, said the Arab joint work faces a crisis.
Sheikh Al-Thani handed the chairmanship of the summit to Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi.
