The Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, has condemned Israel's killing of four civilian Palestinians near Nablus in the occupied West Bank. The Secretary General said that the Israeli occupation forces' killing of four Palestinians in cold blood is a war crime whose perpetrators must not go unpunished. He emphasized that such crime demonstrates the need for the international community to compel Israel to commit to the International Law and the Fourth Geneva Convention for the protection of civilian persons in time of war, according to a press release of the OIC.
