Assistant Speaker of Shoura Council Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Barrak, received here today Chairman of Foundation of Islam and the West, Dr. Francis Lamont, who is currently visiting the Kingdom within the guests of the 25th Janadriyah National Festival for Heritage and Culture. During the meeting, efforts of the Foundation in serving Islam and Muslims in France and the march of the Shoura Council of Saudi Arabia, its mechanism of working and its specialized agencies were discussed. On the other hand, Dr. Saleh Al-Namlah, Shoura Council's Member and Chairman of Committee of Foreign Affairs also received here today Ken Offlerti, Deputy Head of the Middle East Group at the British Foreign Office. During the meeting, a number of issues of common interest and ways to strengthen parliamentary relations between the Shoura Council and the British Parliament were reviewed.
