Majlis Al-Shura in its ordinary session here today, presided over by Vice Speaker, Dr. Bandar bin Muhammad Hamza Hajjar, completed discussing the annual report of Customs' Department for fiscal year 1428/1439 H. Al-Shura previously held a hearing session on the comments of its Financial Committee on the report. Al-Shura Secretary General, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Ghamadi said following the session that the discussion tackled the vital role of Customs Department as a main gate outlet for the Kingdom, its efforts to improve the infrastructures of its outlets, expanding through use of modern equipments to check radioactive commodities and materials and recruiting well qualified staff to cope with Customs upgrading. Reports on educational affairs in general and educational research in particular were also discussed during the session.
