Arabi said 'if we describe the Saudi methodology in fighting terrorism as a lenient method, then we will send a wrong message to different governments in the world because leniency is always linked with weakness. "The real question is that: Is the Saudi method effective in fighting terrorism or not; the answer is that the Saudi experience has proved to be successful and better than the tough methods used in fighting terrorism, and moreover the Saudi method has shortened the period of dispute and reduced its cost. Undoubtedly, hawks in the various governments in the world including Algerian generals who call for adopting a tough method in fighting terrorism will reject that and call for iron-fist policy as regards confronting terrorism. The Saudi successful method in fighting terrorism will provide us with a realistic example and make us have tangible evidences that the iron-fist policy is not the only or the best way for dealing with Islamic extremists." --MORE
