Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Abdulaziz Al-Ghadeer held here last night a dinner party in honor of the 17-member visiting delegation of the Saudi Health Ministry. Head of the delegation Dr Salih Al-Salihi said the delegation's visit was aimed at selecting highly qualified physicians from Pakistan to undertake medical works in various hospitals of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He noted that the delegation met with 2000 physicians in Lahore, Karachi , Islamabad and Rawalpindi during the past two weeks, adding that the delegation selected 1, 400 physicians out of the total number interviewed for this purpose. The selected physicians specialize in the fields of Intensive Care,, Maternity-Care, Medicine and Laboratories and other specialties. He highlighted Saudi Arabia's existing cooperation with Pakistan in the medical domain and said the Kingdom is in need of Muslim nurses and Pakistan is the suitable for meeting this demand.
