Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja expressed optimism for the success of "2010 Riyadh International Book Fair", which will be opened on Tuesday and lasts for 10 days, with the participation of more than 600 publishing houses from 27 countries. Cultural programs and activities as well as evenings, dialogues and seminars will be held on the sidelines of the Fair. In a statement to reporters following reviewing here today the final arrangements for the opening of Riyadh International Book Fair for 2010, Dr. Khoja said that Saudi market and all circumstances are fully ripe for the publishers in Riyadh International Book Fair for 2010, allowing the participation of a large number of them in this year's Fair. He also values the participation of King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue to support the concept of dialogue, pointing out that dialogue is a healthy phenomenon promoting the call of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in spreading the culture of dialogue. "Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques stands behind every cultural and intellectual movement and spares no effort for the interests of thought and culture of the homeland with its various educational and cultural institutions", the Minister of Culture and Information stressed, wishing that Riyadh International Book Fair for 2011 would provide a wide area for the electronic publisher to be able to compete against the large number of publishing houses. During the visit, Dr. Khoja was accompanied by Dr. Abdullah Al-Jasser, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for Media Affairs who is also the General Supervisor of the Fair and a number of the Ministry's officials.
