The Saudi-Yemeni Coordination Council held its 19th session, here yesterday, under the co-chairmanship of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General, and Yemeni Premier Dr Ali Mohammed Majour, said a joint communiqué issued following the meeting in which it said the two sides reiterated the importance of respecting Iraq's unity, sovereignty and independence as well as preserving its Arab and Islamic identity.” But, they urged the Iraqi government to exert additional efforts for realizing national reconciliation." The two sides hailed the efforts exerted by the Arab League in this respect and urged the Arab League to continue in exerting efforts in this regard. The two sides also reaffirmed the stand of the GCC member states as regards discarding terrorism in all its forms irrespective of its causes, the Communiqué said. --MORE
