Abdullah Ahmed Zainal, The Minister of Commerce and Industry approved here today the transformation of 'KATKOUT' Fast Food Company from a limited partnership company to a Closed Joint Stock Company based in Ahasa city, the Eastern Province. Dr. Hassan Fadh Aqeel, Under Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for internal trade said in a statement to The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the Company's capital is SR 40,532,200 divided into 10 million shares with a nominal value of SR 10 for each share. The Founders subscribed in all the shares of the company. The Company has been chartered to establish fast-food restaurants, catering services and other related businesses. The duration of the Company is 99 years, starting from the date of the Ministerial approval resolution; the duration may be extended by a resolution of the company's extraordinary General Assembly. It is noteworthy that the Company shares cannot be traded but only after obtaining the approval of Capital Market Authority (CMA).
