Al-Shaqiq-2 Project is almost complete, set for provision of 212,000 Cubic Meters of Desalinated Water

Al-Shaqiq-2 Project will provide Assir and Jazan regions with 212,000 cubic meters of desalinated water and 850 megawatts of electricity a day.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Executive Director of Al-Shaqiq Company Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Mahdi said that thanks to the attention given to the project by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier, the project which started its construction in 15-5-1428H will be completed in the 3rd quarter of this year, noting that more than 96% of the project has been executed.
