Al-Thoura, a Yemeni mass circulation daily, today lauded the Saudi Yemeni relations, describing them as based on strategic, historic and future bases, making them an ideal example in the region. The newspaper quoted Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, as telling a Yemeni dignitaries delegation the day before yesterday that relations between the two neighbors are steadily progressing, thanks to the care and interest of the leaderships of the two countries. Al-Thoura, which means revolution, said Yemen and Saudi Arabia share not only neighborhood, fraternity, religion and language but also race and legacy. The paper highlighted the demarcation of borders in 2000 which, it said, have turned from posts of monitor and control to bridges of contact and exchange of visits and flow of goods. Al-Thoura said the Yemeni people would never forget the fraternal support by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their efforts to confront challenges.
