Prince Misha'al bin Abdulaziz, the Chairman of Allegiance-Pledge Commission and Chairman of Higher Committee of King Abdulaziz Award Festival for Camels Pageant in Umm Ruqaibah had directed to distribute a new tranche of aid to 1000 needy families including foodstuffs, blankets, clothing and heating equipment in Hafr Al-Batin governorate last Thursday and Friday. As many as more than 3000 families have benefited from the support and charitable assistance provided by Prince Misha'al in Hafr Al-Batin, Umm Al-Jamajim, Al-Artawiyyah and adjacent villages. In a statement, the Chairman of the Festival's Scholarly, Call, Charitable and Cultural Committees Sheikh Khamis bin Butti bin Mneikher pointed out that the directives of Prince Misha'al urged on following up the situations of poor and needy people, as well as orphans and widows in the region. he commended Prince Misha'al for supporting and sponsoring charitable actions accompanying the Festival, and also praised Prince Abdulaziz bin Misha'al bin Abdulaziz, the Festival's General Supervisor and Prince Saud bin Misha'al bin Abdulaziz, the Festival's Deputy General Supervisor for their constant support and follow-up of various Committees of the Festival. He hailed the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Misha'al bin Abdulaziz; and the Crown Prince for their continuing support for charitable works in the Kingdom and other countries.
