Dr Abdullah Bin Abdul-Mohsin Al-Turki, the Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL), received here today Dr Sayyed Wakar Ahmad Husseini, the President of the California-based Institute of Sciences, Technology and Islamic Development. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Husseini said the Institute has prepared studies and researches to project the Islamic culture in various domains. He underlined the importance of the contribution of the Muslims to the preparation of scientific researches in the fields of sciences, technology, medicine, and Islamic economy and other topics. Dr Husseini pointed out that the Institute has conducted studies on astronomy in the Holy Quran, water resources and other related issues. Moreover, he reiterated the keenness of the Institute on enhancing cooperation with the MWL in the field of Islamic studies and researches.
