Nine died and two were injured when a van crashed with a car which was then hit by a truck in northwest China's Shaanxi Province Friday night, said local authorities Saturday. All the five in the car and four from the van including the driver were died on the scene and two passengers from the van were injured, Xinhua quoted a Jingyang county government official as saying. The two injured have been hospitalized and were in stable condition, he said. The van collided with the car at around 7 p.m. at Jingyang County. The car was then hit by a truck traveling in the same direction, the official said. The police is investigating the cause of the accident.
