Afghan President Hamid Karzai has stressed in a key speech before London Conference on Afghanistan, the importance of the constructive role which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia can play in the process of reconciliation in Afghanistan. "We hope that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud kindly plays a key role in guiding and supporting the reconciliation process in Afghanistan.", Karzai said following the opening ceremony with the participation of the British Prime Minister of the meetings of the London Conference on Afghanistan in which representatives of 70 countries from all over the world have participated. Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is leading his country's delegation to London Conference on Afghanistan. Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom is a prominent member in the Saudi delegation.
