The Saudi Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja emphasized the depth of Saudi-Egyptian relations under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak. In an interview published today with "Akhbar Al-Yom" newspaper, Dr. Khoja said that he does not think that any one is ignoring co-operation and solidarity between the two peoples and their leaderships. Dr. Khoja also said that Arab citizens know very well the Kingdom's efforts to achieve reconciliation and unity of Arab and Muslims ranks, stressing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will continue to exert such effort. "These efforts were support by Egypt which is also trying to unite Palestinian ranks" Dr. Khoja said, adding that the Saudi-Egyptian efforts are complementary. On the situation on the Saudi southern border, Dr. Khoja confirmed that the Saudi Armed Forces has taught the armed infiltrators a severe lesson, as it managed to thwart their nefarious intent to sow split among the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Yemen and to embroil them in a region wide anarchy.
