Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Fourth Global Competitiveness Forum (GCF) will start tomorrow in Riyadh. The Forum is organized by the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority under the theme "Sustainable Competitiveness". The Forum will be attended by a number of Chief Executive Officers (CEO) of international companies, Nobel Prize winners and Saudi officials. The Forum includes 15 workshops focusing on the most important issues relating to sustainable competitiveness. On the sidelines of the Forum, several new initiatives will be announced to increase the competitiveness of public and private sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Among the most prominent speakers at the forum are Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, the Saudi Minister of Finance; Dr. Muhammad Al-Jasser, Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency; John Chambers, Chairman and CEO of Cisco; Michael Dell, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Dell; Jeffrey R. Immelt, Chairman of the Board and CEO of GE; and a number of Chief Executive Officers of international companies. The Forum will be covered by Arab and international media.
