The Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja has expressed his support for the Shura Council's demand to formulate a strategy for the Ministry of Culture and Information. Following patronization of a first eve poetry-session for Radio's poets organized here on Monday evening, Dr. Khoja said, "It is necessary to have such a strategy; there should be a vision on which the Ministry shall proceed ahead." The Minister reiterated that the Cultural Channel will be a platform for poets, writers and intellectuals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ceremony was attended by Assistant Undersecretary for Broadcasting Affairs Ibrahim Al-Saqoub and a number of the Ministry's officials.
