Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Aviation Club, has recently chaired the Third Session of the Club's Board of Directors. The Board reviewed the Club's activities as well as the directives of its directors to implement the project of Saudi Aviation Flight Academy (SAFA) at Al-thumama Airport with the participation of the Saudi Aviation Club and Saudi bin Ladin Group. They also reviewed means of coordinating with the concerned authorities to spread the culture of aviation and its sciences through encouraging establishment of aviation clubs in various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, the Board also approved the report submitted by the Chartered Accountant for 2008 as well as the proposed budget for the Club for 2010 in addition to the new system for aviation in the Kingdom. It is worth mentioning that the Board of Directors has been appointed by Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General.
