Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare, Chairman of Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF), chaired here today the extraordinary meeting of ISSF Board of Directors. At the opening session, Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz delivered a speech in which he stressed that ISSF is keen on achieving its objectives and plans which call for the adherence to the principles of Islam and the enhancement of Islamic solidarity. In a press statement following the meeting, Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz said that the meeting discussed the 2nd Islamic Solidarity Games due to be held in the Islamic Republic of Iran, pointing out that all members of ISSF Board of Directors decided unanimously to cancel holding the 2nd Islamic Solidarity Games in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz also said that the ISSF Secretariat will issue an explanatory statement on this issue tomorrow morning.
