The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja patronized here last night the conclusion ceremony of AIDS and Media Conference. Dr. Khoja delivered a speech in which he thanked all participants in the conference. He also said that the Islamic religion urged us to support each other. "This is what we should do, especially with people infected with AIDS, in order to stop the spread of the disease", he added. The media plays an important and active role in the prevention of AIDS by clarifying its effects on the society, Dr. Khoja said. Then, the Minister of Culture and Information honored the participants. He also received a commemorative gift from the Director General of Social Affairs of Makkah Region.
